Installation
Simply screw the included metal brackets onto the side of your hive box (any thickness). The frame holders slip onto the brackets to securely hold your frames during inspections. Remove holders when done and they'll store easily until your next inspection.
Why Petg Matters
Many 3D printed beekeeping tools use basic PLA plastic, which can soften above 120°F. PETG offers better heat resistance (up to 160°F), UV stability, and superior impact resistance – built to handle the demands of outdoor beekeeping season after season.
A Note On Heat
While PETG handles typical outdoor beekeeping conditions well, avoid leaving items on a vehicle dashboard or storing them in a hot car during summer months. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 160°F may cause warping.
